Description
Bidding on uniforms is limited to bidders who are law enforcement officers or in the business of selling law enforcement equipment (NO EXCEPTIONS). Please call the auction contact in order to discuss the requirements to to be placed on the pre-qualifed bidder list. This auction has a very specific requirement and must be agreed to before a bid may be placed.
ALL 3792 PATCHES MUST BE REMOVED AND RETURNED TO THE HOUSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT AT THE BIDDER'S EXPENSE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PICKUP OF UNIFORMS.
This auction is for an assortment of police uniforms of various brands and sizes. The count is the following:

HPD will conduct a site visit to the winning bidder's location.
The pick-up of shirts and return of patches will be at the Uniform Supply Division at 700 Houston Ave, Houston, TX 77007
WE DO NOT SHIP ITEMS. Bidders may contact a local shipping company to pickup, package and ship their item(s). We do NOT package, we do NOT place them in a box for you.
We are not experts on the items listed for auction. We receive them from multiple sources and are not responsible or accountable for the condition we receive them.
WE DO NOT INSPECT EVERY ITEM TO SEE IF IT WORKS
We strongly encourage bidders to inspect items of interest.
The winning bidder must provide their own labor and materials to remove items from the warehouse and must take all items at time of pickup. If you abandon any items you will be blocked.
If someone other then the bidder is picking up your item, please fax a letter of authorizaion with the following:
1. Third party name
2. Auction number and item description
3. Your name or company name, complete address and phone number as well as a copy of your Driver's License.
We must receive the letter and copy of license before we release any item.
Payments must be made within five (5) BUSINESS days of the auctions close either online via credit card or wire transfer, or by a money order/cashier's check at the City of Houston's Asset Disposition Warehouse located at 2511 Broad Street, Houston, TX 77087.
Your bid is a decision to buy this item. Customers will not be allowed to view an item and then decide whether or not they will buy it. Ample time is provided to view items before the auction ends. Management reserves the right to block/ban customers who abandon property or refuse to pay for an item.

All items are sold as-is, where-is without warranty, expressed or implied. Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Seller for any and all damages, claims or liability for injuries to persons or property caused during the sale or by the removal of the item.
Items sold must be paid for and picked up within 5 Business days of the close of the auction at the City location indicated, unless otherwise stated in description. Pick up times may vary at each location. Bidder must read the Terms and Conditions for complete information.
Buyer is responsible for inspecting items offered online and all bids must be based solely on the buyer's personal inspection and evaluation of the item.
WE DO NOT SHIP ITEMS, THE WINNING BIDDER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL OF THE ITEM.
No service of any kind will be furnished by the City of Houston. The winning bidder will assume any cost of weighing, packaging, crating, loading or hauling.
Buyers Premium A 9.5% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.
Customers are expected to take all items included in the auction. Abandonment of any items may lead to the customer being blocked.
PayMac handles all payments for City of Houston.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
