All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

Pick-up hours by appointment only.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.

Payment and Pick-up: Payment must be made within five (5) business days and removed within ten(10) business days of the date of the Notice of Award. All sales are subject to applicable State/Local Sales and/or Use Taxes, currently 8.25%, on non-vehicles, unless the buyer provides a valid tax-exempt certificate at the time of payment.

Shipping: Unless otherwise noted, all surplus property sold by City must be picked up at the MSC Warehouse. The City is not equipped to ship items, or prepare items for shipping.

Reproduction of Auction Materials: Bidders or PublicSurplus.com website users may reproduce or copy images, photographs, or descriptions of City's listings of its surplus property for personal use only.

Title to Vehicles and Equipment: The City will issue a title or certification of ownership, as appropriate, upon release of an item to the successful bidder. NOTE: Some of City's vehicles/equipment may be restricted from registration within the State of California and can only be sold to out of state buyers.
