TERMS AND CONDITIONS: There are no expressed or implied warranties on any items listed. CONDITIONS OF SALE: Sale of all surplus property is, as is and where is, without warranty. The description of surplus property offered for sale has been compiled from available data; however, there is no guarantee or warranty on the part of the District as to its condition or quality. The District reserves the right to withdraw any item(s) being offered. No service of any kind will be furnished by the District and the bidder shall assume any and all costs of weighing, packaging, crating, loading, or hauling, unless otherwise indicated. No refunds or adjustments will be made on any award(s). Bids submitted shall remain firm for a period of five (5) calendar days and the bidder shall remove the property within five (5) calendar days from the date of notice of award. Successful bidder will be directed by the District to the pickup point upon payment of the bid amount to pickup the property. No property will be released without a paid in full receipt. Payment and pickup hours are as follows: Payments may be made by either cash (US currency, Cashiers, Certified Check, made payable to Allan Hancock Joint Community College District and mailed to 800 S. College Dr., Santa Maria, CA 93454 or delivered at the time of pick-up. All communication with the district regarding surplus operation shall be via email at grivera@hancockcollege.edu. Pick up hours for sold surplus items were to remain Monday through Thursday and the hours were to be 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. All buyers were to bring the resources and equipment to load their purchased items. Plant Services Staff would be available to grant them access (ONLY) to their purchased items. Buyers must have the proper receipt and property equipment ID in order to pick up their purchased items. Buyer will coordinate pick up arrangements through Plant Services, 805-922-6966 ext 4141, attention Kevin Raine, 24 hours prior to pick up and really large bulky items need a 48 hour lead time. Buyer assumes all liability for damaged items resulting from loading or transport on College property. Items will only be released to person who was awarded the auction; proof of identity may be required. The college will not release auction items to any third party or any other agent other than the awarded bidder, unless an authorized ship of laden of accompanies the third party pickup party.
