Description
The Gifts to the City auctions are open to the public and City employees, except for employees of DCAS and DORIS, and any persons or firms associated with DCAS and DORIS employees. For the purposes of this auction, a person or firm associated with DCAS and DORIS employees include spouses, domestic partners, children, parents or siblings; a person with whom the DCAS or DORIS employee has a business or other financial relations, and each firm in which such employees have a present or potential interest.
All measurements and descriptions are approximate.
Items are being sold in an "AS IS" and "WHERE IS" condition. You are expected to load your own item(s). Be prepared to load your item(s) from a dock. If you cannot carry or lift, you will need to bring someone with you. We cannot ship item(s).
Bidders may contact a local shipping company to pick up package and ship their item(s).

Bid Deposits: City of New York may require bid deposits to ensure fairness to all buyers.
PayMac, handles all payments for City of New York.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of winning bid.
City of New York may charge a sales tax of 8.875%
Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 9.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the City of New York will not release the item to you.

The Successful bidder will be responsible for the packing, loading and/or transporting of any item(s), if necessary.
