Weight - Each boat weighs approximately 100 to 200 pounds depending.
- Boats/Canoe appear to be in fair/good condition, no guarantee on whether or not "seaworthy". (Boats/Canoe were not leak tested) Some Boats may have cracks and dents. Please keep this in consideration while bidding.
Can I view the boats in the auction?
Each boat will have at least four photos for you to view online throughout the duration of the auction. Photos of boats are provided to allow for bidding without needing to view the boat in person. However, in the event that you still need to see the boat, in-person boat viewings will only be available by appointment between 8:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.at the GrahamsVille location.

Bid Deposits: City of New York may require bid deposits to ensure fairness to all buyers.
PayMac, handles all payments for City of New York.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of winning bid.
City of New York may charge a sales tax of 8.875%
Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 9.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the City of New York will not release the item to you.

The Successful bidder will be responsible for the packing, loading and/or transporting of any item(s), if necessary.
