For Sale: Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Edition – Runs & Drives – Great Project or Parts Car
Selling a Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Edition in red. The vehicle runs and drives, but it will need attention before becoming a reliable daily driver. It would make a good budget project, commuter with some work, or parts car.
Details:
- Runs and drives
- Check Engine Light is On
- Runs when jumped, but will need a new battery
- Tires are in fair condition
- Registration expired in April
- Limited Edition trim
Condition:
- Significant sun-faded paint and clear coat wear on the hood, roof, and other areas
- Multiple dents and body damage, especially on the passenger side rear quarter panel, doors and hood
- Dash is damaged
- Driver's seat is ripped/torn
- Rear passenger-side taillight has been temporarily repaired
- Front bumper and headlights show normal wear for the age
- Rear liftgate does not stay up, needs new liftgate supports
- Liftgate handle is broken, but does still function
- Interior will need deep cleaning
This is not a perfect car, but it starts, runs, and could be a good project for someone willing to put in the work. Please refer to photos for inquiries regarding condition of vehicle.

County of Shasta may require a bid deposit. Sales tax of 7.25% will be charged on all sales if applicable, and a buyer's premium of 9.5% will be added to the final sale price, with a $1 minimum charge per auction. The tax rate and buyer's premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
PayMac, handles all payments for County of Shasta. Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card. NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award. All sales are final. Public Processing will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises, including packing and/or loading, if necessary. Pick-up is by appointment only and must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award unless approval by the Board of Supervisors is required. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
