Description
This listing is for a bulk lot of 14 used linear position transducers/potentiometers from reputable manufacturers, including Novotechnik and Longfellow (Waters MFG). These precision sensors are essential components for accurate distance and position measurement in various industrial, laboratory, and DIY automation applications.
📌 Product Overview
Condition: Used, mixed lot. The Novotechnik units feature an aluminum extrusion housing with a sliding wiper, while the Longfellow units have a robust, dark casing. Some units are still partially shrink-wrapped. Please examine all photos closely for cosmetic condition, models, and specifications.
Quantity: 14 units total.
Purpose: Measures linear displacement (position) by converting movement into a proportional electrical resistance signal.
These linear transducers are highly versatile and are used in any application where precise linear position feedback is required. They are excellent components for:
Industrial Maintenance: Replacement parts for old or damaged position sensors on CNC machinery, injection molding presses, hydraulic cylinders, packaging equipment, and test stands.
DIY Automation & Robotics: Providing feedback for actuators (hydraulic, pneumatic, or electric), robotic arms, custom motion platforms, 3D printers, or large-format plotters.

We encourage customers to make an appointment to view item(s) before bidding. All customers MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT prior to arriving on campus to pick up item(s). If you arrive to the warehouse without an appointment, we make no guarantee that we can assist you. If item is not removed from our facility in 10 days, it will be relisted or disposed of.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Washtenaw Community College will charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
