Description
This auction is for a modular building located at Subject modular building is located at 12001-A East Freeway I-10 East at Federal Road fronting Dawnwood Drive.
Size of building: 2,072 sq ft. Measurements are approximately 30 feet x 75 Feet. Weight is unknown. Age is estimated at 25 years old.
Foundation: Steel building frame rests on concrete block supports on top of concrete slab on grade.
This building needs significant renovation work. The HVAC system is not operational, there is some exterior damage from Hurricane Harvey, and it appears someone has entered the building through a broken window and caused some damage to the interior.

BUYER MUST provide the name, company name and contact information for a project manager responsible for the transfer/transport of this portable building at least 48 hours prior to removal. The PROJECT MANAGER MUST provide us a plan of action for the process which covers the date and time of arrival, equipment to be used, proof of proper certification/training for operating necessary equipment that his team will be bringing on site to disassemble, load and/or remove the building from City property as well as provide proof of insurance.
It is essential that the winning bidder work closely with the City of Houston to schedule this transfer.
We strongly encourage bidders to inspect any/all items of interest prior to bidding. We ask bidders to give at least a 24-hour notice to coordinate for site visit. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP AT THE LOCATION WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE VIEWING. Please call the auction contact to schedule a site visit.
Buyer agrees to complete the removal of the Trailer from City Property in accordance with the following:
a. Buyer shall give all notices and obtain and pay for all permits, licenses, and bonds which may be required by federal, state, county or city laws for the removal and transportation of the Building, before Buyer enters onto City Property to remove the Building. Buyer shall provide the City of Houston with copies of all required permits before Buyer begins work on removing the Building.
b. Buyer shall remove in a good and workmanlike manner the Trailer and all components from City Property. Buyer shall remove all debris from the City Property, including but not limited to all lumber, pipes, conduits, wires, lights, fixtures, and other building materials.
c. Buyer shall be solely responsible for all damages to any person or property associated with Buyer's entry onto City Property.
We strongly encourage bidders to inspect items of interest prior to the close of the auction.
Payments must be made within five (5) BUSINESS days of the auctions close either online via credit card or wire transfer.
Your bid is a decision to buy this item. Customers will not be allowed to view an item and then decide whether or not they will buy it. Ample time is provided to view items before the auction ends. Management reserves the right to block/ban customers who abandon property or refuse to pay for an item.

Items sold must be paid for and picked up within 5 Business days of the close of the auction at the City location indicated, unless otherwise stated in description. Pick up times may vary at each location. Bidder must read the Terms and Conditions for complete information.
Buyer is responsible for inspecting items offered online and all bids must be based solely on the buyer's personal inspection and evaluation of the item.
WE DO NOT SHIP ITEMS, THE WINNING BIDDER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL OF THE ITEM.
No service of any kind will be furnished by the City of Houston. The winning bidder will assume any cost of weighing, packaging, crating, loading or hauling.
Buyers Premium A 9.5% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.
Customers are expected to take all items included in the auction. Abandonment of any items may lead to the customer being blocked.
PayMac handles all payments for City of Houston.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
