Description
Large lot of Steelcase Series 9000 modular office cubicle/workstation and partition components removed from a municipal office.
This is a substantial modular office system consisting of numerous components in assorted sizes and configurations. The system was previously assembled and in service and has since been disassembled for removal.
Components include numerous structural panel frames, gray fabric/acoustic panels, solid panels, glass/window panels, base sections, trim, rails, connectors, hardware, and electrical/cable-management components.
Please note: Some photographs show the system assembled to demonstrate its previous configuration. All cubicle/workstation components are currently disassembled and will be provided in their current disassembled condition.
Quantity is substantial and individual pieces have not been inventoried. Buyer should review all photographs and is strongly encouraged to inspect the lot prior to bidding.
Electrical components/raceways may be included; however, the Town has not tested the electrical components after disassembly and makes no representation regarding completeness, functionality, or suitability for installation. Any electrical installation should be evaluated and performed in accordance with applicable codes.
Items are used and may have scratches, scuffs, cosmetic wear, dust, missing hardware, or other signs of normal commercial use. No guarantee is made that all components required for any particular workstation configuration are present.
This auction is for the entire lot. Successful bidder must take all components.
Buyer is responsible for all labor, tools, equipment, packing, loading and transportation.
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY – FRIDAY HARBOR, WA
Please note: Pickup is located in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, Washington. Ferry transportation is required for vehicles traveling to/from the island. Buyer is responsible for making all necessary ferry and transportation arrangements and should plan accordingly when scheduling pickup.
Buyer is responsible for all labor, tools, equipment, packing materials, loading, and transportation necessary to remove the items. Seller does not guarantee assistance with loading.
Entire lot must be removed by the successful bidder.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Town of Friday Harbor will charge a sales tax of 8.5% on all non-vehicle equipment sales. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. Tax on vehicle sales will be paid to Washington State Department of Licensing at time of vehicle transfer.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
Pick-up hours by appointment only.
The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
