Auction Payment and Pickup Instructions

• Immediately after the auction closes, the winning bidder will receive an email from Public Surplus with the total amount due and payment instructions.
• All payments must be made through the Public Surplus website. Payments are securely processed by PayMac on behalf of Jefferson Parish Schools.
• After payment has been confirmed, the winning bidder will receive a separate email from Jefferson Parish Schools on the following business day with title transfer information and detailed pickup instructions.
• The item will be available for pickup the day after the auction ends, provided the title transfer has been completed.

Buyer must have resources and workers in place to remove within 5 business days of closing.

Pick up time: Monday through Friday, 8-1:30. Call to schedule pick up. No exceptions. Pickups can start September 22.

Item MUST be paid and picked up by September 28 by 1:30.

IN ADDITION TO THE WINNING BID AMOUNT, THE WINNING BIDDER MUST ADD: 10.5% buyer's premium. All appropriate taxes, title and notary fees will be paid when title is transferred.



The winner of this item will receive an email from Public Surplus with the amount due.

 

The winner will receive another email the next day from the JP School system with the title transfer contact and pickup instructions.

Remember - your bid is the same as a contract. - Please only bid on an item that you are serious about buying. If you do win the bid you are legally bound by contract to purchase the item.

PayMac handles all payments for Jefferson Parish Public School System.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

Sales tax may be charged. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
