LIABILITY: All items are sold "as is" and "where is" without warranty either expressed or implied. All sales will be final. The city may withdraw an item at any time from the auction sale. The City of Royal Oak assumes no liability for inaccurate or erroneous descriptions contained in any descriptive material pertaining to the auctioned equipment. All equipment is to be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser.
Payment must be received within ( 5) days from the Notice of Award from PublicSurplus.com and complete removal of all items must be made within (10 ) days from the Notice of Award.
Payment hours will be as follows:
8:00 am-4:30 PM Monday through Thursday
8:00 am-12:00 pm Friday
There will be a Buyers Premium of 7.00% added on to the winning bid.
MI sales tax of 6.00% shall be added to all purchases made (exception is for motor vehicle purchases which are state sales tax exempt).The buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment to City of Royal Oak.
Pick-up hours by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item.
Successful bidder will be responsible for cost of shipping item(s) if necessary.
Upon receipt of award: Payment must be made by Cash (U. S. currency only), Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Money Order made payable to City of Royal Oak.
