Payment
PayMac, a third-party payment processing company, receives all payments for BTC. Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after the Notice of Award of the successful bid. Payment may only be made online by credit card, or by wire transfer. NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. If you choose to pay with a credit card, please follow the instructions below. The credit card limit per transaction is $4,000.00. For payments larger than this amount, follow the instructions listed under Wire Transfers.
Removal
Except as stated herein, no service of any kind will be furnished by BTC; the winning bidder shall assume all cost of removing property from the site. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from the agency premises within ten (10) business days after the time and date of issuance of the Notice of Award. If the Buyer, after making payment for an item, fails to remove the item within the specified time, the agency reserves the right (1) to retain all payments; and (2) to dispose of the item through another auction or otherwise. BTC is unable to assist with shipping packages at this time but will help you identify local agencies who can assist. In special cases upon review and at BTCs discretion we may be able to palletize bid items to be picked up by your shipper. BTC will not be responsible for items after they leave our premises.

BTC will charge a sales tax of 9.0%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
Buyers Premium: of 12% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises.
Removal must occur within ten (10) business days.
