This is a collector's watch from 1970. It's a Rolex Red Submariner with a Mark II Dial making it rare and desirable. It's serial number is not the lowest, but low in the order of Red Submariners. Of all 1680 Red Submariners, the Mark II dial makes up only 6% of all units out there. The watch's band is a 93150 stamped 580, which is not the original, but of great quality and still a late 1970's band. The crystal has been scratched over the years, but can be polished out and should not be of great concern. The dial's luminous markings do not glow and therefore has not been re-lumed (thumbs up). The watch's cyclops is scratched and has minor blurring of the date wheel, which I was informed has been replaced. The pearl is still in tact and looks great on this watch and contributes to the EXCELLENT condition of the dial.
