Please be advised that any resultant sale is considered to have occurred within the Town of Oro Valley, Arizona. As such, the Town’s applicable tax rate of 8.6% shall be applied to each sales transaction. Be advised that sales tax is due and payable at the time payment is made for an item, unless the successful bidder can provide a completed Arizona Department of Revenue Transaction Privilege Tax Exemption Certificate, Arizona Form 5000.

Abandonment of Item. Auction items that are paid and not picked up within 10 business days from time of receiving the notice of award will be considered abandoned and the agency, at its sole discretion, will either 1) retain all funds paid by Buyer and relist or dispose of items in any manner it deems in its best interests, or 2) upon receipt of a written request for refund from buyer and subsequent refund approval by agency, retain up to 40% of any amounts paid to offset administrative costs incurred by agency.   Buyers who bid on any auction with the Town of Oro Valley are subject to this condition if they are unable to pick up the item(s) within the allotted time. Please be advised.

Remember - this bid is the same as a contract. Please only bid on an item that you are serious about buying. If you do win the bid you are legally bound by contract to purchase the item.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.

Town of Oro Valley may charge applicable sales tax [8.60%]. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

All sales are final. Public Processing will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
