BIDDERS WILL BE ISSUED AN AUCTION SALES RECEIPT (ASR). THIS IS THE DOCUMENT YOU WILL USE TO APPLY FOR A TITLE. THE ASR MAY NOT BE READILY AVAILABLE AFTER PICKUP. PLEASE CALL 832-394-4834 TO ARRANGE FOR PICKUP OF THE ASR AT 1002 WASHINGTON STREET, HOUSTON, TX 77002. IT MAY TAKE UP TO 48 HOURS OR MORE TO GET THE ASR PROCESSED.

TO APPLY FOR A TITLE, WE RECOMMEND THE HARRIS COUNTY TAX OFFICE AT 1001 PRESTON STREET.
IT IS THE BIDDER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND OUT WHAT THE REQUIREMENTS ARE TO REGISTER THE VEHICLE IN YOUR STATE. THE ASR IS RECOGNIZED IN TEXAS AS A LEGAL BILL OF SALE. IT MAY NOT BE RECOGNIZED IN OTHER STATES.
It is the bidder's responsibility to determine what the requirements are to register a vehicle in their state. The City of Houston will only issue an Auction Sales Receipt (ASR). No other forms/paperwork will be issue. We are not responsible to notarize receipts/forms.
Payment for impounded vehicles is by credit card or wire transfer only. No other form of payment is accepted.
Bidders must claim and remove vehicle within SEVEN business days of the closing of the auction. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Pickup arrangements can be made with the Impound Lot by calling 832-394-9939.
Rules for this auction must be followed. Please do not bid if you do not have the assets to remove this vehicle.
There is only one viewing time available for this vehicle. The date for the viewing is 29 Mar 17 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Bidders must call auction contact as soon as possible to provide ASR information. Due to the high number of default bidders, it will now take up to 48 hours or more to issue the ASR.
No maintenance/repair work of any kind will be permitted on City property. Only work to remove the vehicle will be allowed.
Bidders/Workers will stay in the designated work area of the Police Impound Lot and not leave this area. Impound Lot personnel have the authority to expel any bidder who does not comply with all the laws, rules and regulations.
Management reserves the right to block/ban customers who do not pay for an item or do not adhere to all guidelines/requirements.

All items are sold as-is, where-is without warranty, expressed or implied. Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Seller for any and all damages, claims or liability for injuries to persons or property caused during the sale or by the removal of the item.
Items sold must be paid for and picked up within 5 Business days of the close of the auction at the City location indicated, unless otherwise stated in description. Pick up times may vary at each location. Bidder must read the Terms and Conditions for complete information.
Buyer is responsible for inspecting items offered online and all bids must be based solely on the buyer's personal inspection and evaluation of the item.
WE DO NOT SHIP ITEMS, THE WINNING BIDDER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL OF THE ITEM.
No service of any kind will be furnished by the City of Houston. The winning bidder will assume any cost of weighing, packaging, crating, loading or hauling.
Buyers Premium A 9.5% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.
Customers are expected to take all items included in the auction. Abandonment of any items may lead to the customer being blocked.
PayMac handles all payments for City of Houston.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
