Additional Note about Auction Fee
The minimum opening bid includes the cost of the auction fee. The auction fee is deducted from final bid amount instead of being added as an additional cost.
For example, if a bidder's final bid is $1,000.00, the amount due to Public Surplus will be $1,000 instead of $1,000 + the auction fee.
Fees associated with wire transfers are still required to be paid by the winning bidder.

All parcels for sale are subject to any easements, assessment liens and federal liens, whether known or unknown. This means that any buyer purchasing the property is subject to:
1. Easements of record including public utility easements and public right-of-way easements;
2. Reservation of mineral rights or mineral rights preserved by record;
3. Local Improvement District (LID) Liens as provided by law;

An auction fee ($1 minimum per auction) shall be included in the total bid for each parcel. Opening bid amounts are for the taxes, penalties, interest, county fee, and auction fee. Auction fees are calculated as 9% of the final bid and will be deducted from the payment to the seller.
Winning bids must be paid no later than 3 Business days after the close of the auction.
Acceptable forms of payment are credit/debit card for individual transactions between $1 to $2,499. For transactions $2,500+ and all bid deposits, wire transfer will be the only acceptable form of payment.
