We do not take payment for items. All payments must be made via Credit Card or Wire Transfer through Public Surplus.
We strongly encourage bidders to inspect items before the close of the auction.
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY MEANS JUST THAT. DO NOT SHOW UP WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY.
WINNING BIDDERS
Pick-ups MUST be scheduled during hours of operation.
Must have proper equipment to remove item(s) as quickly as possible. If the equipment is insufficient, you will be turned away and rescheduled for another time.
If someone other than the bidder is picking up the item(s), please email a letter of authorization to m.wear@ghid.gov. The letter must include the third party's name, auction number, and payment receipt. Please include a copy of YOUR (winning bidder) driver's license. We WILL NOT release anything until we receive this information.
Please do not email an authorization until you contact the office staff. Also, please confirm that we've received the email.
Payment and pick-up of the item(s) must be completed within five (5) business days of the auction's close. Please let us know if you are paying with a wire transfer because this may take several days to clear.
Your bid is a decision to buy this item. Customers will not be allowed to view an item and then decide whether they will buy the vehicle. Ample time is provided to view items before the auction ends. Management reserves the right to block/ban customers who abandon property or refuse to pay for an item, or for any other reason, in the best interests of the District.

PayMac handles all payments for Granger-Hunter Improvement District. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 9 business days of close of auction.
Buyers Premium: A 10% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment, unless otherwise stated. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.
Bid Deposits: Granger-Hunter Improvement District may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
Pick-up hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 am 6 pm, excluding holidays. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item.
Items must be picked up at the Granger-Hunter Improvement District office during regular business hours as listed on our website. Granger-Hunter Improvement District will not ship any item(s).
All items are sold as-is unless otherwise stated.
There will be NO partial payments of an auction allowed. All auctions must be paid in full per payment process used per auction
