THERE IS NO TITLE FOR THIS VEHICLE.
VEHICLES ARE EITHER SEIZED OR ABANDONED AT THE AIRPORT. THERE IS NO MAINTENANCE HISTORY AND THE RUNNING CONDITION IS USUALLY UNKNOWN. THERE ARE USUALLY NO KEYS FOR THE VEHICLE AND MUST BE TOWED.
BIDDERS WILL BE ISSUED AN AUCTION SALES RECEIPT (ASR). THIS IS THE DOCUMENT YOU WILL USE TO APPLY FOR A TITLE. THE ASR supersedes all other liens/claims on this vehicle.
THE ASR MAY NOT BE READILY AVAILABLE AFTER PICKUP. PLEASE CALL 832-394-4815 TO ARRANGE FOR PICKUP OF THE ASR AT 1002 WASHINGTON STREET, HOUSTON, TX 77002. IT MAY TAKE UP TO 48 HOURS OR MORE TO GET THE ASR PROCESSED.
There will be a viewing on Sunday, 23 Feb 25 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm (No appointment necessary). This is the ONLY opportunity to see these vehicles. The vehicles are in a secured lot and are not accessible to the public except during this time. Auction contact may also be reached at 713-647-2183 for pickup & viewing information.

TO APPLY FOR A TITLE, WE RECOMMEND THE HARRIS COUNTY TAX OFFICE AT 1001 PRESTON STREET.
IT IS THE BIDDER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND OUT WHAT THE REQUIREMENTS ARE TO REGISTER THE VEHICLE IN YOUR STATE. THE ASR IS RECOGNIZED IN TEXAS AS A LEGAL BILL OF SALE AND MAY NOT BE RECOGNIZED IN OTHER STATES.
THE CITY OF HOUSTON WILL ONLY ISSUE AN ASR. NO OTHER FORMS/PAPERWORK WILL BE ISSUED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO NOTARIZE RECEIPTS.
Vehicle mileage for auction sales receipt purposes must be verified before the vehicle is removed from the auction location. If mileage cannot be verified prior to removal, the "not actual mileage" box will be checked on the ASR and "000001" will be listed as the vehicle's mileage. Amended ASRs will NOT be issued.
Payment for impounded vehicles is by credit card or wire transfer only. No other form of payment is accepted.
Rules for this auction must be followed. Please do not bid if you do not have the assets to remove this vehicle.

Bidders must call auction contact as soon as possible to provide ASR information. Due to the high number of default bidders, it will now take up to 48 hours or more to issue the ASR.
No maintenance/repair work of any kind will be permitted on City property. Only work to remove the vehicle will be allowed.
Bidders/Workers will stay in the designated work area of the Impound Lot and not leave this area. Impound Lot personnel have the authority to expel any bidder who does not comply with all the laws, rules and regulations.
Management reserves the right to block/ban customers who do not pay for an item or do not adhere to all guidelines/requirements.

All items are sold as-is, where-is without warranty, expressed or implied. Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Seller for any and all damages, claims or liability for injuries to persons or property caused during the sale or by the removal of the item.
Items sold must be paid for and picked up within 5 Business days of the close of the auction at the City location indicated, unless otherwise stated in description. Pick up times may vary at each location. Bidder must read the Terms and Conditions for complete information.
Buyer is responsible for inspecting items offered online and all bids must be based solely on the buyer's personal inspection and evaluation of the item.
WE DO NOT SHIP ITEMS, THE WINNING BIDDER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL OF THE ITEM.
No service of any kind will be furnished by the City of Houston. The winning bidder will assume any cost of weighing, packaging, crating, loading or hauling.
Buyers Premium A 9.5% Buyer Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.
Customers are expected to take all items included in the auction. Abandonment of any items may lead to the customer being blocked.
PayMac handles all payments for City of Houston.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
