Description

NOTE: USED (DECOMMISSIONED) non-HDPE PLASTIC REFUSE & RECYCLING CARTS - 14,000 carts (approx.) SOLD AS ONE LOT - Carts are all 96-gallon capacity units.

All carts being auctioned are damaged beyond repair; none are intact, and most are missing parts. The winning bidder must remove all materials and will have 15 business days from the auction end date to complete this process. 

NOTE: Bidder may be required to remove carts from three locations:

Locations: 2352 S Ashland Chicago Il 60608, 
611 W. 69th St.- Chicago, IL 60621 and 4619 W Homer St, Chicago, Il 60639

Bidder must furnish the labor and equipment to remove all auction items (see Terms and Conditions).

Inspection Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., by appointment only.

 **IMPORTANT***Appointments are required for access to the Salvage Yard located at 10101 S. Stony Island, for site visits, drop-off of documents and pick-up/removal of equipment and materials. Please email the contact listed on the auction to schedule your appointment.

IMPORTANT PAYMENT CHANGES - PLEASE READ!  Payments made by Cashier's Check, Money Orders or Money grams will no longer be accepted at the Salvage Yard or by mail in 2019. Payments must be made either by credit card through this website or by cash, Cashier's Check, Money Order, Money gram or credit card at one of the following four Revenue Payment Center locations

Your must provide your Payment Center Receipt along with your Public Surplus Winning Bidder Notification and signed Affidavit at time of equipment pick-up. 

IMPORTANT: Third (3rd) party payments are not accepted on any auctions. The winning bidder MUST make payment
 (please read the linked Terms and Conditions). Third party payment may result in default of the bidder/auction. 
 

Bidder must furnish the labor and equipment to remove all auction items (see Terms and Conditions). Winning bidders must possess a valid Driver's License to remove any vehicle from the Salvage Yard or provide written authorization for a third party with a valid Driver's License to remove the vehicle.
