A FLATBED IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO TOW AUCTIONED VEHICLE.
BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING FLATBED.  LAMTD WILL NOT USE ANY EQUIPMENT [INCLUDING OUR FORKLIFT] TO ASSIST LOADING AUCTIONED VEHICLE ONTO FLATBED.
BUYER MUST PROVIDE WINCH TO PULL THE AUCTIONED VEHICLE ONBOARD THE FLATBED.
 
Vehicle maintenance records will not be provided.
 
License plates have been removed and temporary tags will not be provided.
 
The Unit is not in running condition and will need to be towed [flatbed is recommended]
 
Our hours of Pickup are 8:30am to 2:30pm Monday thru Friday. Non-Holidays.
 
Please contact LAMTD a minimum of 24 hours before pickup [so that arrangements can be made with our Fleet Maintenance].
Also note that we will make a copy of the driver's license of the individual/driver that is picking up the vehicle.

Auction item are available for inspection, by appointment only.

PayMac handles all payments for Lakeland Area Mass Transit District, who may require a deposit.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card. NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium, if applicable, will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid price.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

State/Local Sales and/or Use Tax: The Lakeland Area Mass Transit District is tax exempt and therefore does not collect sales tax. All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the buyer, at time of title transfer.

The successful bidder will be responsible for the pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award and by appointment only.

The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
