All winning bids must be paid and scheduled for pick up within 5 days of closing auction.
Pick up of winning items must be picked up with in 10 days of close of auction.
An appointment must be made for pick up.
Buyer is responsible for loading of Purchase. We provide no loading assistance.

UC Merced policy regarding taxes...
Sales tax will not be removed if you are a reseller or hold a certificate for tax exception. You as the buyer will pay sales tax and work with your tax advisor to claim a credit on your tax return.
This is non-negotiable.
If bidding on an item, you do so knowing all California State taxes will be paid to complete purchase.
You will have to claim a credit regardless of "live in a state or out of state" were sales tax is not applied.

PayMac handles all payments for University of California Merced.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
University of California Merced may charge applicable sales tax [8.25%]. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding.
A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
